The draft international standard on Natural Capital Accounting for Organisations, ISO 14054, is open for comments here. Comments are due by February 10th, 2025.
In our final webinar of 2024, we were be joined by key members of the working group for ISO 14054: Natural Capital Accounting for Organisations. They discussed the purpose of ISO 14054, it's content, the process of development, and how you can provide your insights through the public consultation.

Early bird, student, and online tickets to envecon 2025 are now available!
We are pleased to be able to offer early bird prices at £275: no increase from last year's conference. Once early bird tickets sell out, standard tickets will be available for £350. Student tickets are available for £120 and online attendance for £30.Â

During envecon 2024, Andrew Wilson presented a paper titled "Heat disproportionately kills young people: Evidence from wet-bulb temperature in Mexico"
Last week it was published, making the news in Mexico and being covered by Carbon Brief in the UK.

Decarbonising the North of England: designing business models for CCUS

This project will involve: (1) systematic literature review of existing business models to typologise viable business and effective policy support models; (2) stakeholder engagement with local authorities and businesses to identify and design feasible models in the North West and North East clusters; (3) surveys on public perception and expectation of benefits (or costs) to local communities.
